The Thomas County Fair Board is trying to improve the Thomas County Fair Grounds every year. However, these projects take time and money. If you would like to contribute in anyway, please contact us. Any kind of donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
We're putting in sidewalks around the fairgrounds.
We would like to finish the new fencing all around the fairgrounds.
We are painting and updating all the barns around the fairgrounds.

Need a great way to promote your business? Why not set up a booth during our fair? Booths are located in the Commercial Building and every night people will be walking through to make their way to the grandstands. What a great way to be noticed. Please let us know if you would like to set up a booth or if you have any questions.

She continued through DeAnn’s years in 4-H. Served as a Club Leader and a project leader at times. Darla, Darrel, and DeAnn have served as project leaders over the years. They have also served as Superintendents of animal classes at the fair.
Darrel has served for many years on the Thomas County Fair Board and has enjoyed working with all the people who have served with him.
The family stays active with the fair through the Rexford Lions and Golden Plains Booth. They have spent many a day serving food to the fairgoers.
The years have passed and the family has enjoyed watching new and positive changes to the fair and the grounds. They at different times have enjoyed all of the new benches and tables around grounds as one of the newer changes.
Thank you to the Thomas County Fair Board for the honor given to our family by being asked to serve as the Grand Marshall for 2018.
The family has been involved in the Thomas County Fair for many years.
Delores has been involved with 4-H for many years. This started in the mid 70’s when Darrel and Darla became charter members of the Golden Plains 4-H Club.
